Assemblyman Rooney Sits On Panel At “Knock Out Opiate Abuse” Town Hall

Morris Plains, N.J. –  On May 17, 2017, Assemblyman Kevin J. Rooney sat on a panel at a Knock Out Opioid Abuse Town Hall, held at Morris County Public Safety Academy. He presented with other local experts on the legislative response to the opioid abuse epidemic impacting Morris County, followed by questions and dialogue from the audience.

The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey has developed a plan for a series of Knock Out Opiate Abuse Town Hall meetings, with Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, to address the issue of opioid abuse in communities across the state. Town hall meetings provide an opportunity to dialogue with community members and learn their concerns, needs and questions about the opioid abuse epidemic in New Jersey and in the local Morris County community.
